We could use a 1.5th Amendment

It's God-given and self-evident, but there ought to be another option spelled out between the 1st amendment and the 2nd.

For those times when the government gradually usurps first amendment rights under the rubric of "private companies" and "hate speech" and "public health", but like a passive-aggressive bitch (like the CCP) falls just short of open warfare against the people.

Every entity from the state to the individual should have a formal right known as Unilateral Withdrawl, Selective Secession, Home Rule... basically a right of tax refusal and noncompliance with mandates from above. Voluntaryism, in a nutshell.

The intent is to balkanize and decimate the government to preserve the country. You can imagine people exercising this right feverishly at first, rejecting COVID mandates and forced diversity, breaking monolithic local governments into separate tax entities for roads, schools, police, fire, courts, etc, and only paying a fraction of the requested taxes for useful services, or nothing if the usual suspects try to shoehorn gay pride parades into the road budget for example.
